Reduce, Re-use, Recycle!

Over the next few weeks we are going to be discussing the importance of taking care of our earth. This past week we looked at pictures of what the earth looks like when people don't take care of it. It was quite empowering to see how angered some of the kiddoes became when they saw pictures of landfills, destroyed forests, and oceans filled with garbage. We have been looking at different books that suggest things that they can do to help the earth and we will continue talking about what they can do to change the world. Quite a few of the kiddoes have told me over the past few days that they have been reminding others that they have to recycle, turn lights off, use less water, and be careful not to litter! I'm so proud of how caring and concerned they are!
