Take Home Reading

In your child's backpack tonight is a new folder housing his/her new take home reading program. Each day the Kiddoes will be able to bring home a new book to practice reading and share with those around them. The purpose of the program is to provide an opportunity for the Kiddoes to begin to use the strategies they are learning. Many of the books will be very easy for the Kiddoes to read, however, building confidence is the primary objective. On the back of the folder is a list of hints you can use when helping your child to decode the books.
