New Centres

We have a few new centres in the room! Check it out!

Writing Centre

The kiddoes are practicing their reading and printing with this centre. They need to think of the strategies good readers use when reading a word (look at the pictures, look for "chunks", and sound it out). Once they have read the word, they practice printing it on the line next to the word.

 Poppy Alphabet

The kiddoes have to place the letters on the poppies in the correct order.

 Ice Cream Number Match

In this centre the kiddoes have to match the ice cream scoop with the correct number of dots to the ice cream cone with the matching number.

 Shape Pizza

Students create a pizza in this centre with various different shapes. Once their pizza is finished, they need to write how many shapes and what kind of shapes they used on their pizza (i.e. 4 triangles, 3 circles, etc.).
