Food Hamper Decorating

Our school was approached by the Food Bank last week to decorate cardboard boxes they use over the holiday season for hampers. The Kiddoes and I discussed today the service the Food Bank provides and why it is so important in our community. After brainstorming different ideas of how we could decorate, the Kiddoes set off to complete their task. The only guiding 'rule' they had was to evaluate how their hearts felt when they looked at their drawings. If they were happy with it, than we knew others would be too. If they felt like they hadn't tried their best, they could always fix the drawing! I must say how proud of the Kiddoes Mr. S. and I were while we watched them fully engaged in this process. They did a great job of decorating!!!
