Donations

Both Mr. S. and I have been overwhelmed over the past few weeks with the amount of clothing and toy donations which have come into the room. The Kiddoes had such a sparkle of pride when they placed their latest donation into the pile. Today, we finally took a look at what we had accumulated.

We decided that before we donated the clothing and toys, perhaps we should sort the articles into different piles. The Kiddoes figured we should sort the clothes according to gender and type and have separate piles for toys, blankets and toiletries . As we didn't have enough room in our class, we took the clothing into the hallway and began our sorting.

When our work was finished, I asked the Kiddoes how their hearts felt. Once again, I was privileged to witness that moment when each person around the circle realized that he/she was capable of changing the world. The Kiddoes sense of citizenship and responsibility are growing each and every day. Thank you to all our K families! These articles will be donated tomorrow!!!
