Mismatched Sock Day!

Throughout the day we spend a great deal of time talking about strategies. We discuss how we can turn things that feel like big deals (i.e. can't do up my jacket, can't read, can't find a pencil etc.) into little deals by having a variety of strategies. While reading the book, "It's Okay To Make Mistakes" by Todd Parr, we chatted about how having a strategy can turn around an 'uh oh' moment into something awesome. One of the 'uh oh' moments in the story was when one character was wearing two different socks. The Kiddoes and I laughed at this 'mistake'. While trying to figure out a strategy to turn this 'mistake' around, we decided it would be fun to have a mismatched sock day! Thus, tomorrow will be mismatched sock day!!! Looking forward to seeing the interesting 'pairs' that show up tomorrow!!!!
