Leprechaun Traps

This week marked my favourite day of Kindergarten. It was Leprechaun Trap making day! On this day each year, it is the first time I am able to stand back and watch in absolute amazement as the Kiddoes in the room are able to independently break into groups, negotiate ideas with each other and work together to carry out a plan. The only assistance they need from me is in obtaining materials. The Kiddoes this year did not disappoint. As a group, we have worked hard over the past six months to come to this point where the Kiddoes are ready for independent and group work. They are able to take control of their learning! It was exciting watching their ideas come to life in order to catch a wee green man. Take a quick peek at the traps!
