Centre Time Learning

Over the past few weeks the Kiddoes have been have a great time (and learning a great deal) through centre time learning. Here are a few things we have been exploring!!

Sand Table:

The new table allows Kiddoes to explore capacity both individually and with others. They are also able to work collaboratively to move sand from one quadrant to another enabling them to explore gravity. 

Cup Stacking:

The Kiddoes are spending some time exploring and building with regular cups before being introduced to the actual sport of cup stacking!

Sensory Table:

The sensory table is full of gold!!! Golden popcorn that is!!! The Kiddoes have been challenged to create different patterns with all things green and gold!

The Box Centre:

The box centre continues to be a favourite in the class. I have been amazed over the past few weeks by the imaginative play and collaboration between the Kiddoes!

Book Making Centre:

The Kiddoes have spent a great deal of time over the past month making books. They have a plethora of materials from which to choose in order to create and bind them. Perhaps the best part of the book centre is the Canadian author tags available for them to use! Ask your child about their author letters!

Take Home Reading:
