E-Portfolios

Today I introduced the Kiddoes to the online e-portfolios they will be using over the course of the year to document, share and reflect upon their learning. I will be sending home a letter at the end of the week with instructions on how you can access their portfolio. We are using a program called Threering. The Kiddoes were fascinated to learn today how it was going to be their job this year to document their own learning and ideas. After spending some time discussing how we find, open, and maneuver through the app, the Kiddoes were tasked with documenting their first artifact.... a picture of a friend!! It was a great lesson this morning and I am excited to watch their progress over the next few weeks as this process becomes quicker and smoother. I can't wait to begin conversations online with all the families in the room about the individualized learning of their child.
