Independence skills is one of the things with which Miss Maier and I have been working extremely hard with the Kiddoes. With the colder weather approaching quickly, I am requesting your assistance to aid in this independence development at school. When sending your child to school with proper cold weather attire (i.e. hat, snow pants, mitts (please no tight gloves or mitts)) please consider if they will be able to don all articles independently. Dressing themselves is a developmentally appropriate task, and I wish to set them up for success, rather than failure at school. Thanks for helping them to learn they are responsible for doing up their own jackets and putting on their own boots by themselves!
