Animals In Winter

Today, we had a special visitor to the Kindergarten room. My Dad, (Kent) was in to visit and brought with him some special friends!

We spent a good part of the day learning about what animals in Saskatchewan do in order to get ready for winter. We learned many new words, (migrate, hibernate, adapt, camouflage, carnivore, herbivore, omnivore, scavenger, predator, prey etc). The best part of the presentation was getting to have an up close look at all the animals!!
